The Trainer made it easy to understand and the practical exercises she had set up helped ingrain the theory we had learnt about during the first part of the course.

With our consultant, we covered the principles of project management as well, so we would definitely attend the next event, and maybe send some of those that are running projects to get the most value. Some key messages from the seminars that we took away were the impact of doing social media well, and particularly helpful was the marketing seminar which gave a new perspective on doing things differently because we are a charity.

I found the day and the training I received to be really useful. Working in a charity is often quite busy and it was great to get away from the day-to-day routine and sit back and reflect on project management with an experienced professional. It was great to get a fresh perspective and tap into the ideas, and most importantly the experience of the experts. I have taken new ideas and perspectives to share with my collages and am motivated to improve the way we work.

I really enjoyed the seminars and found it thoroughly worthwhile to take a step back and take stock internally as well as what other charities are doing and gain an understanding of how the industry is changing. Project Management Day of Service was so useful for taking a step back and getting help from talented people looking at our problems with fresh eyes.
